    Hi all,
I am thinking about getting a machine.
    I have a budget of around £500
I have researched a few and found:
    Penta premium stronger 3600
    Penta premium stronger 3800
    Gamma progression 602 FC pro
    Superstringer s90

Any advice, anything would be helpful

    Thanks

With your budget and if you just will string badminton, I would go for Super Stringer S90. You will get semi-auto swivels, diamondcoated clamps, one-knob mounting and nice sidesupports...everything you will need for a loooooooog time from a stringingmachine.

(my experience coming from premium stringer 8700, and later super stringer T50)

    Thanks for that
    What is the superstring like?
What is the range of tension on the s90 and what is the distance between the side posts like?
And what was your premium stringer like

Hi Kwun, I just got 2 used manual stringing machine, may I know that if I would like to upgrade to WISE 2086 head in future, is the process just simply plug and play by replacing the tensioner? is there any drilling /additional part needed in your upgrade to WISE tension head? My worry is that what if after mounting it, and the height is not similar to the racket holes, will that cause any trouble? Thanks so much!

Selling my Toyos for $550 USD if you’d like. About 30 stringjobs to pay em off.

Toyozouki Clamps. Found on higher end Yonex Stringing Machines. Clamp action is amazing and known for having a “finger light” clamping mechanism.

Your clamps won’t work on my machine(this is a single action, need bases, rails etc) If i ever upgrades i will get a new machine but i dont see the need at the moment.

The clamp is a post lol. Just gotta make sure height and diameter is correct tbh. I like your setup! Looks great!

no. if you look at his machine closely, closing the clamp handle also locks the base. the whole clamp/base mechanism is a single integral unit. it's pretty cool actually!

i have to say that despite the more erm.... vintage look of the machine , it does have some nice features.

That's pretty cool. Kinda weird that machines don't do that anymore isn't it? There isn't an example where you'd want your clamps clamped but not locked, is there?

Nice to meet you, I registered today.

My machine is "GM660" sold by "GOSEN".

If you know the name of the manufacturing company, it would be nice if you could tell me.

    Thank you.
