My friend is hosting a friendly tournament at Su's Badminton Club in Mississauga, Ontario on Sunday, December 28th, 2014. Registration is at 11:30am, and play starts at noon (and scheduled to end at 7pm). Entry fee for tournament is $30 for one event, $35 for two. As it currently stands, entries for men's doubles have been maxed (12 teams), but entries for mixed and women's doubles are still being accepted (but, I think, only until December 21). I have already entered for men's doubles, but my mixed partners are all unavailable, either due to injury or otherwise busy with holiday season priorities. Therefore, I am seeking a competent female partner who is willing to play for a few hours in a fun tournament, in which people are mature and friendly. Level of play is maybe one or two levels less than varsity tournament level. I am an experienced player in doubles, but with less experience in mixed. My record in this tournament (now in its fourth year) is not having placed in mixed, but in doubles I won bronze in 2012 and gold in 2014.
