    There will not be broadcast of WS quarter final and XD bronze medal playoff. Hopefully, some betting site will carry them.

    According to the schedule in Chinese, the Men's Singles Bronze medal playoff is on the same day, 20th Aug 1930 Hrs Saturday, as the Gold Medal Match.

    Mixed doubles reigning Olympic Champion Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei v Michael Fuchs/Birgit Michels will be the opening match in Riocentro - Pavilion 4 on 11th August (08.00am local time).

    Rio is 4 hours ahead of US west coast. I guess I will be up early then. :)

    But you only have to get up early for those matches you want to see, prolly the later rounds and if LD/LCW are KO, you can sleep in:D

    Now, on Aug 13, things start to get more interesting with MD, where KOR vs DEN, INA vs CHN, CHN vs MAS, and KOR vs RUS.

    But this is still group stages, so there won't be all out battle if they have enough points to advance.

    Yeah, at the group stage, the fancied players can afford not to go all out, instead conserving energy and avoiding injury is a good thing. At the knock-out stage, it's all systems go, only slackening a bit if having an insurmountable lead, until the finals where they'll play their guts out.
