because Aprilia beat ALL INA WS in Pelatnas..(include Maria Yulianti and Lindaweni) in Panglima TNI Cup...
and the others curious thing..Tommy in TC squad instead of Hayom just because one match :mad:
Hayom ever beat Anup, Boonsak, Yan Kit Chan and Hsieh Yu Hsing
Tommy ever beat Sairul, P Kahsyap, Tedjono...

Please, call Hayom (4th INA MS based on WR) to join with INA TC Team 2010..

April won internal selection between pelatnas players las month. She even beat MKY. Coach Marleve thought it's more fair give her 4th position, rather than conduct Linda-April match like Tommy-Dion did for 4th place in TC team

Hayom almost beat Tommy, lead 21-something in 1st game and 20-16 in 2nd game, jump for killing smash in front of the net while Tommy is out of position, but the birdie stuck in the net...
then it's over for him, Tommy finish the game and then win the 3rd

thanks for the answers guys.........but I'd rather think not to put players who won at the selection that time only......we need to see other track records against foreigners like simonlovers said......Hayom and Lindaweni are clearly on form in this time rather than Tommy and Aprilia.....such a waste.....

I think coach Agus Dwi will choose Hayom in first place, but he needs a reason and prove that Hayom is better than Tommy...

I know that.......but what other reasons that he needs???......Hayom ranks is clearly higher than Tommy, won against more fancy players, more physically strong.....so, I think its more like an insider's job...:p

Yeaa... but INA just need to qualify as number 2 in Group X, it should be enough, because even if INA finishes as #4 after the SF stages, then INA will still go to the Uber Cup finals based on a better ranking against the #4 European gals... :p The last time I saw the rankings, INA is even higher than NED, Europe's #1 women's team. After NED, I saw DEN, GER, RUS, and FRA... INA is higher than all of them in early February... according to http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80896

Don't know the status today... :p

I will even choose Fransiska Ratnasari [Nana] over Aprillia and Lindaweni because Nana's form is better today than when she was in the National Team. Nana even won the Vietnam Open GP and INA Challenge last year. Things she never won while practicing in Cipayung.

Oh, Hayom will be included in the National Team soon. After he is in, then the National Team management can just choose Hayom over Tommy without any other selection process. Note: Hayom crushed Tommy in straight sets in INA's National Championships, a few weeks after the 'single match selection process' :p.

    Exactly!

The crucial matches for INA are against THA and KOR...... If INA can actually beat both, we can [most probably] avoid JPN [assuming they will win group Y] in the SF .......and that's even safer! :D

for better chance in Uber Cup, i'll choose Nana..Nana must take 1 title in Austria or beat Wang Lin in German Open to prove she is good :D
but for good regeneration i'll choose Lindaweni...

I am pretty sure INA will beat THA on Thursday since Salakjit, Porntip, Saralee, and Kuncala are not playing at all.

Ratchanok Intanon can beat Adriyanti Firdasari, but, I think our 2 Doubles and Maria Kristin Yulianti can secure the 3-pts required for victory

if Febe as 2nd WS..she can revenge her lost in Astec INA Challenge 2009 againts Jindapon (50:50)
and if Yulianti as 2nd WS, her chance to beat Jindapon bigger than Febe..

if Yulianti as 3rd WS and lost to THA 3rd WS..OMG :eek::eek:

Errr... Hayom blasted Tommy out of the stadium in Surabaya a few weeks ago at the INA National Championships. 2 straight games of outclassing Tommy in every single department... :p

Just let Hayom play Tommy a couple more times in Cipayung. See how many times Hayom can beat Tommy out of 5 games. I think 4-1 in favor of Hayom...

And Febe can still defeat Nitchaon... Nitchaon is good, but not unbeatable. I saw Nitchaon having decent agility, speed, brain, and soft touches, but she has no overpowering sharp shots. Febe can take her on! Febe lost to her in INA Challenge after playing AUS Open and NZ Open a few weeks before that... :p

And get Greysia-Mel to play against the Thai pair... Surprise 'em... ;)

Yes, I think the selection wasn't fair too.
The Selection held on Cipayung place of Tommy's training and used slow & heavy shuttle cock too.
The result on Kejurnas has proven, Hayom beat Tommy 21-17, 21-15

For Uber Cup Ina VS Srilanka, the coach has to play Firdasari and Maria Febe to boost their confidence cause at least one of them are needed to play well in their matches against Thailand and Korea. The should rest Maria KY and play Nana as the third single.

Thanks God our Uber team ended up in this weak group. If we are in group A along Japan, Taipei and India we already packing home. (Based on how we only win 3-2 against Singapore)

:p..the funniest comment in this thread..:p

As for the INA Uber Cup squad, like a couple of you guys already mentioned, as long as INA can advance to the Semifinals Rd. they've accomplished their goal and they should qualify for the Final Rd. in M'sia. So, relax, grab a cup of kopi susu or Kopiko and enjoy the festivities..

My suggestion to face SRI tomorrow: What do you think, guys?
WS1 Maria Febe. Many ppl said that Firda's weakness is her stamina. Hopefully She could recover by giving her some rest

    WS2 Maria Kristin Yulianti

WS3 Aprilia Yuswandari. I don't think Aprilia will be played for the next matches. So this time is her only chance.

WD1: Shendy/Liliana. I think this pair is potential to be our ACE. as they beated SIN pair yesterday convincingly. it would be a good practice for Shendy/Liliana to keep being played

WD2: Meiliana/Aneke Fenya. maybe this pair is the weakest combination. But Why not? Only Srilanka, hehe

I agree with your thinking process. But note that since Liliyana has zero WD ranking points, Shendy-Lily will be WD2 all the time... :p

I have no doubt that Hayom is better than Tommy. Agus Dwi should answer why he agreed that selection proccess. Feeling comfortable to directly choose Hayom because he was 'new' coach and Hayom (at that moment) wasn't pelatnas player, or 'pressure' from above?
