The only strong opponents for chen jin are chen yu and chen hong, but I dont care who will win between 3 of them as they stand for CHINA.
For WS, Zhu Lin is the strongest contender to win ws.In upper half,Pi hongyan is the only her challenge,Im sure she can handle pi HY.While below half, only Xu Hw and Yao Jie can challenge her but Lu Lan will open the road for her:p:p

Rijal-Greysia also not competing? Then which XD are sent by INA? Tantowi-Yulianti? Flandy-Vita? Lingga-Richi?

Don't think the Japanese fave capable to overcome Gao/Huang. Head-to-head statistic between them is so stunning, 7-0 for the formidable Chinese...

Same with last year event, probably CHN will bring 2 titles here through MS or WS and WD.

    XD -- Sudket/Saralee
    MD -- KOR or MAS

BWF tournament debut for Rian-Yoke in Thailand Open 2007

Here is a picture of Rian Sukmawan and Yonathan Suryatama from last week's Djarum Superliga Badminton in Indonesia...

Thailand Open 2007 is their debut BWF tournament. They have partnered together before, way back in 2004 at the INA club level, but now have re-joined forces to achieve something at the world level. IF they win against Lee Yong Dae-Jung Jae Sung, then they can go pretty far in Thai Open. Maybe to the semis...

I say not re-joined, they played together only once in Kejurnas 2004 because of Luluk, Sigit & Eng Hian were absent.
Before recruited to Pelatnas, Rian paired with Titon and Yonathan paired with Alroy Tanama Putra (HKG).

It is true that I could only recall them appearing together just once in that Kejurnas 2004. Your fact is flawless, Sandy, as usual...

I just said re-joined because they have played together before [fact] and have not played together publicly until the recent Superliga Badminton in Jakarta [fact].

Anyway, good luck to these youngsters...

As a Korean, my prediction is:

MS: The Only Left-handed Top-player in this tourney
    WS: ZL or LL
MD: The two top-ranked Korean teams will compete in Final
    WD: LKW/LHJ as usual
XD: The Winner of 2007 Swiss Open SS

Welcome any objections from you guys. :)

Chen Yu didn't go to Thailand this time, although he's the title holder.
