Chirag n Satwik are world class but it was their mistake also !! They played at zero levels against Minions n coach strategy was zero !! Zero lift n defence strategy - coach Mathias must n should been asked questions !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All talk, only talk, too much talk, cheap talk. ladies and gentlemen, presenting you the sikki-sumeet-bsp version 2.0 boast the talk, shitt the walk.
This is Frustish. You should look at the social media boast posts and then the on court performance. The only win in OG was boasted for a month " we are the only pair that could beat Olympic Champs" but forget the cheap loss against the out of form minions.
First World Championship medal for India in MD. Thanks to them Satwik and Chirag are also the first MD pair to win a super series level tournament for India. Onwards and upwards.
Thank goodness Chirag/Satwik managed to secure a medal. After the tough draw for all Indian players, and Sindhu's withdrawal, I was worried that this time we may not get a medal. But we did thanks to the duo. Let's hope it is gold this time. On another note India has now medaled in Olympics and World-Championships for 12 consecuitive years now. That's 1 full chinese zodiac cycle, or as we say in India - 1 brihaspati yuga - because jupiter takes 12 years for 1 revolution. I was curious how many countries other than India and China have achieved this feat. So I checked -> the answer is 0. Wow, that's something! May be India should be considered a big badminton nation of recent times now. Japan has medaled without fail since 2014. Even giants like Indonesia, Denmark, Malaysia, South-Korea etc have not medaled every time in the last 12 years. That's the good side to it. The bad side is that despite the consistency, only 1 of those medals have been gold(by Sindhu). Even Thailand - another emerging badminton power - has managed multiple gold medals. Let's see if Chirag-Satwik can win 2 more tough matches.
First Indian pair to win super 500 (Thai Open) First Indian pair to win WC medal First Indian pair to win super 750 (today) Congrats Satwik Chirag for France Open super 750 title.

And the list continues First Indian pair to win super 500 (Thai Open) First Indian pair to win WC medal First Indian pair to win super 750 (France Open) First Indian pair to win BAC gold medal. First Indian pair to win super 1000 (Indo Open) Really happy for them. I was watching their match in a restaurant (borrowed Wi-Fi as there, you have to take a different sim in Jammu) after returning from Vaishno Devi. The way they have reached finals is very impressive and really beneficial for their self confidence. I’m excited for the future. Let’s see. Soak it in SatChi, it’s not everyday we get to see an Indian MD pair winning such big tournaments.
Look at Chirag's fitness levels when he removed his shirt off, impressive work I must say. Don't think many singles players have that fitness level, definately no Indian singles players nor Ginting.
