So I recently used the G10 in black and white. Same feel as G09 but thinner and less sweat absorption.

Does anyone know when the regular G09 (not the wide one) will come back in stock?

Tbh I wouldn't recommend G09. Having bought a bunch of G09s and G08s, I found that G09s are overly tacky, to the point where switching grips during a rally become difficult. It is also a harder feeling grip. When my hands start sweating, the G09s become slippery. On the other hand, G08 is softer and feels spongier, more like AC102EX.

I personally like the tackiness of the G09

For me personally G09 is too slippery as soon as my hand starts sweating a tiny bit.
G10 is pretty much the same for me but it feels a little bit more like YY AC102 (because its softer) but still becomes very slippery.
G08 in my opinion is the best. Soft, grippy and durable. Unfortunately it had absorbed so much sweat that it still was not dry the next day even though I had taken the racket out of my bag.
But I found victor pro overgrip (also sold by a company called "Fly" here in germany) to work best for me. So i will switch to that.

I concur. G08 is soft, grippy and durable. Yes it absorbs sweat nicely. so after game, i just leave the rackets outside the bag for the grips to dry properly. Perfect grip for me, after trying various different grips.

You can use some grip powder also to absorb the sweat.

I personally find that grip powder doesn't work very well on PU grips. They remove the tackiness and then the grip becomes even more slippery when my hands sweat.

Has anyone tried the new batch of G08? The pattern looks different...

From what Eric posted on Facebook, it seems as if it's a completely different grip than the old G08 now:

G08 has not been on the tacky side before and that's what's made it so special for sweaty hands before. Now it seems to be a structured version of G09/10.

Judging from the surface of the grip... don't think it will be as good as the previous ones.......

I think I got the new batch of G08s.. it feels just like a thicker version of G09 with less tackiness. I don't like either G09 or 08 despite the positive reviews here :(

I'm beginning to feel the same :( RKEP felt great to me because it was the first grip I used besides the base grip. After using Wilson Pro Overgrip and Yonex Super Grap I can't go back. In my opinion, they are better in everything besides price.

I think my batch was the new G08. Don't recommend it at all. It is not tacky, but also the feeling doesn't reflect the descriptions earlier in this thread. When my hand got sweaty it just felt slippery.

Tackiness may depend on the colour. Which colour did you get?

White. Also, G08 isn't supposed to be tacky. It's meant to mimick the towel grip feeling where the sweatier your hand gets, the better the grip feels. That was not the case for me.
