    Hi all,

Can anyone recommended me strings that have good hold/dwell time?

My meaning for this is the feeling you have of the shuttle on the string bed before it is released (which is great for control and especially off defensive shots where I can aim where to place my returns).

I have recently used VBS68-power which has this feeling but my go-to stringers don’t have any/many left in stock so I would like to explore alternatives

Aerobite. Fells like the shuttle almost sticks to string bed on net shots. Maybe Aerobite boost but I'm testing that on a frame with a lot of hold anyway (s pro). AB used in OG 88s.

    Just a FYI

This string has a (to me) nice soft feel and is very durable (I have not broken for a few months).
    Interesting

I might give the AB another go; been awhile since I used it so I forgot what it felt like

Adidas Kalkül A68 if you can still get it. Nothing else I've tried comes close.

I see some vendors still selling this string where I live. I would like to know more about it, can you share some experience on feel, good string Tension, advantage and disadvantages.
I always string my racquets with Lining no 1 or no 1 boost.

So arcsaber 11 pro + this string would be like a bug-catcher net

I can't really give any longterm review or impression of it. I had it on the racket for literally two sessions before I cut it. Even strung at my usual 27'ish lbs., it felt as if the shuttle sank really deep into the stringbed or seemed to be sticking to it for a split second. Overall repulsion was fine (at least, it didn't bother me).

I'm a long term No.1 user, and that A68 clearly was something else. If you can get leftover stock of it on sale, then this might be worth checking out.

The shuttle would still be on the racket while you are already under the shower. Just thinking about it gives me nightmares.

Sank deep into string bed, hmmmm so it won't be as hard as BG80. Probably should help Abit if I string it on 100zx, as it's so stiff and hard feeling strings kill my elbow.

It felt as if it sank so deep into it. Not sure if it actually did or not.

    @s_mair

I now have an image in my head of the shuttle being collected like butterflies haha!

Thanks for recommending it. I tried it today on my 88D pro @27lbs. Freshly out from stringing, Slices and net shots were amazing.
I could change the placements last minute and it felt like string is listening to me. Repulsion is okay, not like No.1 or BG80.
    Hope it maintains the tension.
