That shirt exposes Taufik's big tummy. He should get on Atkins.

But how could someone be really "out-foxing" an opponent who is creaming him like nobody's business? Who "out-foxed" who?

Taufik, oh, Taufik, I woke up at 5 am here in the UK only to see my favourite player get whipped. He had his moments of brilliance in the first half of the first game. his net play was completely out of this world and the guy was lightning fast at the net. But he started fading out and got completely tired in the second game. He shouldn't have forced himself in the first place. I'm sure he was extremely disappointed but he must now concentrate on having a good rest at home and recovering quickly. Considering that he had this injury one month before TC, he is probably out of practice as well. When I watched the match on CCTV5, a viewer commented to the commentator that 'it is clear Taufik is in bad shape. This match is not nice to watch at all but I am glad China has won.' You people have no idea how much I hope he would recover soon. It pains me to see Indonesia lose without taking a single set and to see China win the entire tournament without dropping a single game. I thought Denmark would at least take a game but it was not meant to be. All the finest beers in Europe cannot take away my pain...

Oh, I forgot to comment on one more thing: the title of this thread which I think is very inappropriate- 'READ THE BIGGEST UPSET: Taufik Hidayat lost to Lin Dan'. What is so 'upset' about TH losing to LD? Lin Dan is a perfectly good player. TH losing to Shoji Sato, now that was an upset. :p

Now if the headlines read, Taufik lost to the 10 ranked player from Jamaica, Rastaman High, 21-0, 21-0, I would call that an upset.

If Lin Dan lost, and Taufik won, I would also call that an upset. Lin Dan is ranked much higher than Taufik and is expected to win.

Isn't an upset a better excuse than a loss?

For sure and for a fact, LinDan seemed to step up his game and so far has been more "successful" in playing *team event(s)*..in comparison to and especially when facing Taufik or Gade..

Let's just hope Taufik can meet Lin Dan in World Championships this Sept. I want Taufik to be 100% fit by then. :D Can't wait to see that duel and see Lin Dan crush Taufik!! It will be no more excuse by then for Taufik if he loses. Now, he keeps saying about his injury.. Can't stand his attitude.

Actually, if done properly, it wouldn't have such problems. Its those people getting a little crazy with the diet. The book specifically said to introduce carbs little by little after a while and not keeping it so low for long term.
