Why do you want to have the broken racket? Yeah, they need to show it to the sponsor to have it replaced. He is considered a lower ranked player..so he might not have many rackets to give. Even LCW have to show his broken racket to the sponsor to have it replaced.

Here is a picture of LCW in the MS final. During a long rally he couldn't find the shuttle bird and it was actually stuck inside his raquet. I am not sure he can get a refund (just kidding) since he is not hitting it at the sweet spot of his raquet as showed in the photo..
