Last night, saw a racquet clash with a person's head just above the ear.

Only a slight redness and wounded pride on the head.

The racquet had broken and I forgot to look at the brand and model. :(

Would you believe I did that to my own forehead last week?

Was back pedaling for an opponent's clear and had already completed 3/4 of the overhead swing for a forehand clear, when I realized it was out, so I sapped off the power in the middle of my swing and changed its trajectory to avoid the bird, but the momentum of it carried the racket smack into my forehead with a loud clunk. Left an abrasion, which later swelled up a bit with a bruise.

    Fortunately my racket was fine...

One of my old partners has a very long follow through on his **** smash. I was at the net, opponents put in a rubbish clear that was dropping just below me. It was behind me so didn't take it, ducked out of the way so my partner could finish it. He smashed the shuttle into the net and hit me on the head with his racquet.

Dang, if you break a racket on that shot, then you truly have balls of steel!
