Currently using astrox 88s skill which is head heavy and has stiff shaft which is punishing me as i do not have high skill level and doesn't often play offensively, i could land a boom smash occasionally though. Hence, what are the latest choices of rackets based on the title, price does not matter.
Lining axforce 80 3u, slightly head heavy, medium flex Lining aeronaut 9000c, a bit more head heavy, medium-stiff, a forgiving racket and easy to play with a.k.a all around racket
As a JNice fanboy. I recommend JNice Black Panther 3U. Fast through the air and easy drives and defense. Ok smash tho but since you're not a heavily offensive player, it should suit you very well.
Ok smash? Even with 3U? I was a bit confused to pick 3U or 4U, @John Xina mention 3U is heavy and a bit more stiff compared to 4U. Do you feel the same?
Is there a brief review after using for a month or so? Which string are you using on this one? Do you suggest 3U for intermediate offensive player or 4U?
I haven't written one up, but after a few months and having bought other high end racquets I can say it's still a fantastic racquet. One of my Top 3 racquets for sure at this moment, and it's the only one on my list that's headheavy. The 3U version's smashes are great, but you will need to adjust your timing because the Black Panther's specs really make it unique to swing around. If you have the necessary strength and stamina, I always recommend 3U, but you can't go wrong with the 4U either.
I got both Black Panther in both 3U and 4U for over 5 months now (I have 1 3U and 2 4U rackets).I switch rackets depends on how my opponent plays, but most of the time I switch to 4U version since I found myself into fast drives situations in a more advanced rallies (They usually never lift for me to smash). I only play 3U ONLY if I play XD and my partner is a great net player and never leaves frontcourt. Both 3U and 4U give decent smashes (Would say it gives you consistently good smashes even on the off days). What sold me on Black Panther is how fast the racket goes through the air and how easy it plays and doesn't tire your shoulder out easily. My string of choice is Exbolt63 strung at 26lbs I would give Black Panther Smash : 8/10 (On some days when my timing is right it does give 10/10 smash) Clear : 10/10 Defence : 9/10 Ease of play : 10/10 Just like my man @John Xina said if you are confident with your power and stamina 3U is the way to go. But if you really want to play all round I would recommend 4U version since I've found myself struggling with 3U in fast drives and netplay situations.
Thank you for the information mate. It looks like 4U suits me well, but sadly hard to find now a days.
Any other platform that selling this racket? I messaged them and email them on the website but seems no response.
They replied to me after 3-4 business days, but I ended up buying victor TKF enhanced -4U. You can check below sites - https://proracquets.com.au/products/jnice-black-pantherx https://badminton-racket-review.com/products/jnice-black-panther-ltd-badminton-racket-3u And QLT sports.
I play with 88D pro and looking for something similar from different brands. I tried lining 3D caliber 900, TKF enhanced. Then I heard of black panther, I couldn't try because none of my buddies in club had it and the price + shipping was a bit high. TKF enhanced was on offer and I really liked it's shock absorption and smash power but still able to swing faster than 88D pro.
