I sure hope Corey0528's predictions come true and even more so I want China to sweep it! But, to be realistic, here's my predictions: MS: Xia Xuan Ze / Chen Hong / Taufik Hidayat I think Bao Chunlai and Lin Dan are going to look strong in early rounds but probably not enough XP to take them all the way. Also, Bao has appearantly not recovered fully yet from knee injury as he lost to an unkown Chinese Taipei junior in round 1 of JP Open 2003. Another notable player is Kenneth Johanssen, and he could surprise us with something. TO AOTIS: Wong Choon Hann can be very erratic at times. He looks to be in good form at times and then can sucuumb to nothingness at others. Although he seemed quite prepared against Lee Hyun Il in Malaysia Vs. Korea friendlies. WS: Zhou Mi/Gong Ruina/Zhang Ning/Camilla Martin Although Chinese WS ladies didn't fare too well at JP Open 2003, I think it's just one lapse on their part and they will come back strong. It might even turn out to be All-Chinese finals just like last WC. MD:Kim/Ha / Wijaya/Budiarto The Koreans look to be in top form while the top Indonesian pair appeared very unstable at SC2003. The Chinese MD pairs may turn out surprises as they have been doing recently! WD: Gao/Huang / Wei/Zhao These 2 pairs have looked sharp and are China's and probably the world's best bets for the title. XD: Kim/Ra / Zhang/Gao Kim and Ra are probably the favorites but Zhang and Gao are quite hot right now, as they have won the last 4 Major Grand Prixs they have participated in. Zhang and Gao have also defeated Kim/Ra on many occasions previously. Should be close one. Overall, China should be able to take away at least 2 golds and the possiblity of more is quite real.
