What puzzles me is, why carry around string? Do you have stringing machine every- where you go, or do you weave the string somewhere and then put the racquet on the stringing machine at home?
Why carry around >5 racquets AND string? :D

i always carry at least one string because if the string broke while i was playing, i would cut the strings and send it immediately after the game to my stringer. that way i can collect the racket for the next session. :D

That string was a string i got free when i join a tournament...and i forgotten to take it out...so since its in my bag, take it as a backup string then...
Supposingly there's 5 rackets in total, but then one of the racket i "lend" it to a gal i know....thats why it became 4...
It shud be 3 racket...another racket is a squash racket, used for footwork training and strength training...

Hm, what is the price difference, if one would use own string and weaves himself? I just cut my strings, when I break them and send the racquet to stringer.
I see no discount in pricelist for own string and pre-work :D

It's a good idea to carry a pack of string as backup, just in case the stringer runs out of the type of string you normally use. Also most places will deduct the price of the string if you bring your own.

People would not come to them if they wouldn't deduct the price for their own strings. That's just a rip-off then . Good thing that I have never even heared of such shops before :p

I think he means that he usually buys string and then pays for labor from his stringer at a combined price, however if he supplies his own, then he is able to take away that cost, just paying for labor

Exactly. I find that to be much cheaper, because I buy my strings from Japan.. NBG95 costs 23NZD per pack here in NewZealand, but it's only around 10NZ in Japan. The stringing job is cheaper in NewZealand though ( stringing quality isnt as good as in Japan either ).
