It's not a tacky material, but very grippy. It has a rough, rubbery surface. I didn't try playing without an overgrip, but I did have the idea.

I just pushed the old ones back.

Learn something new everyday. Exactly half of the ac402DX is enough for the perfect LD style grip. So that halves the cost and since EX cannot do that (it's pre cut on the end like overgrips unlike do which is flat on both sides) this makes an imported DX cheaper than the local store bought EX.

Perfect fit for the hand btw. It's exactly where and how you hold the racket unless maybe you're a doubles only guy I guess.

I just tried to play only with the heat shrink tube without an overgrip and I would not recommend it. It's fine and it feels nice as long as it's dry, but as soon as you start to sweat, it gets really slippery, because the rubber just doesn't absorb anything. It might be fine as long as it's not wet, just a little moist..... but it certainly does not work for me.

Is that color sticker to just to identify your racket, or any other function for it?

Yeah, to identify each racket and track string tension loss...

BG80 has gone from 32-33lbs on a couple of rackets to 28 in a week...

I have a bit of factory grip at the bottom and a Yonex PU grip over it.
Would it matter much if I removed the factory grip under it though?
My image is too large, so i uploaded it to imgur

Either you need to clean your camera lens or you need a new smartphone...

I do need a new smartphone but can't decide on one that makes sense. Any recommendations?

Picture was taken with my iPad Air 2 which has a smudged up camera lens. Always forget to clean it since I don't take very many pictures with it.

The newly released iPhone might be in your favor since you already own an iPad.

Buy another brand of grips or get nitto finishing tape from MBS

Thought of these too but it tends to get real sticky quick. The glue have a tendency to melt on these tapes

If you take a hair dryer and heat up the tape a little after you've wrapped your grip. It will stick very well.

Something like is very good too, without the typical messy stickies of an electrical tape after sometime of using it. Cheap but good quality no doubt.

Thanks guys. Will go look out for these cos I thought was the cheapo tapes I used that gave me sticky residue. So I tried 3M. It too gave me the same sticky issue.
