I just remembered that during the last SEA Games in Manila, Ants and I, together with our friends, had such an enjoyable time watching badminton and visiting some places of attraction. Here are some pics I took with the professionals, both for badminton and otherwise. :)

Yes Yannie, we had such great fun! Wished you were with us!

The trip to Tagaytay (pronounced, I think, Ta-ga-tai in Tagalog), the volcano within a lake created by yet another volcano (?) was just for a day. But we got to have morning breakfast in a beautiful garden called "Bag of Beans" and lunch at the famous volcano restaurant. With the roving band urging us on, we requested them to sing the popular Filipino love song, "Dahil Sayo" and some other Latin numbers.

The singing and performing cooks and waitresses were so infectious that I was pulled away to join in the dance as well. :)

    Hey my friend,

Not to worry. I've just got the right thing for you to re-energize yourself and give you a new lease of life! Our Filipino friends will be able to identify this dish rightaway and give you the special name. :D

And just in case some of you may be thinking why both Ants and I were half-kneeling when taking the pic with the Thai Princess, this is a mark of respect for the Thai Royalty, something we have to learn when we experience different cultures! ;)
