Pick up a 300 2.8L IS on the cheap?

    depending on condition. i think the cheapest one you can get with fair condition shouldn't be cheaper than $25000 HKD. coz lenses hold their own value much longer than dslr bodies.

    actually not. the one at the lower right hand corner belongs to the company that i work for. others belong to different companies.*
    i took that shot inside the legislative council building yesterday. where 300mm f2.8 and 400 mm f2.8 lenses are counted as "standard lenses". coz lots of legislative councillors are far away from our shooting spot. and flash photography is not allowed during the meeting. that's why we need them.

    time is important to us. and that's why we don't put any cap on them during assignment. we will put caps back on when the job is done.
