I also think, no pressure caused of "Winner" betting odd. The "real" presssure will come in January 2008 strated from Korea Open (if same schedule with 2007 season), defend 9200 pts :scary:
Sandy, you made it more difficult for yourself for popularizing PAWs. With more participants, PAW 2008 will be hotly contested and winners must come up with something special. Are you going to revise and upgrade your arsenal, Sandy? But I'm sure you are as happy as we that more BFers are attracted to your game. One upgrading for PAW 2007 is the new "fill in the boxes" entry format, an idea so brilliantly suggested by Loopy. Would you consider further upgrades to lighten your work perhaps?

It was happened when I run in WTA, 7 players in 1st tournament to 190s when I run in last Grand Slam. Some people said that this game was victim of ourselves succes and give opinion to limited the players by PAW Ranking cut off and limited only member who joined the board for 2 months or more. Running PAW in tennis tournament was very tired, played almost every week from Monday to Sunday. On friday must take preparation for next week tournament. Play in bigger number of players had different feel, very excited. I felt like "fly to the sky" when I won a tournament with 170+ players. I had different target in every tournament, placed on top-10 was very very good. With the new format, now I'm not scary when the players number grow to be 200s if the players write in right format.
alright, good to know the new format helps you. hopefully the badminton PAW will not get to the point where it gets abandoned, it does look like we're going to hit 50 players soon.

Thank goodness you're still around and that means you're actually saner than Victor! It's also surprising that Victor is giving up by placing himself right at the bottom when he has in the past demonstrated his fighting qualities and wanting to be No.1 at all cost!
