That's just sad . Oh well. Better luck next time.
ABC is now grooming Tony Gadi. Trying to expose him in international tournament. This kid looks promising.
Oh. You typed out "How old is *him*?" The correct grammar is "How old is *he*?" I was just correcting you in the nicest way possible.
Yes, "how old is him" is wrong. Some examples of correct usage: "How old is he" "How old is she" "How fast is he" "How good is she" No problem.
His name is Toby Gadi, he is 17. They told me the Philippine Open will be rescheduled on June 30 to July 5, 2009, the week after the Malaysia Gold grand prix.
They better make it quick to rescvhedule...in my opinion it is better before or after Thai Open.....if they do not pay fee upfront..they wont get anything from BWF..also many players has changed their schedule.... I will check with BWF if they are applying reschedule or just talk.........
I learned that the sponsor may be concerned that top international players might skip the Philippine Open considering that there will be 4 BWF tournaments that will be held around that time, including 2 Super Series events. The 4 tournaments are Phil. Open, Singapore Open, Indonesian Open and Thailand Open.
Depending who is the sponsor and players from which outfit. I assume if ever Phil Open going to be push thru.. it will still be sponsored by Victor instead of Yonex.
I always thought Sport politics in Malaysia is bad but it even worst in Phillipines... Last time was their basketball team unable to play in their own SEA games, now badminton! KICK POLITICS OUT OF SPORTS????
Filipino badminton players don't have enough support from the Philippine government. That's the reason why we don't send players to play in most tournaments. I was hoping this year that I can finally watch Phil. Open. Instead, it will be cancelled again. Sigh, what a drag!
he beat former number 1 here in the philippine Lloyd Escoses during the national open in just two sets.
But Gadi is not rank 1 in the last ranking. He was beaten by Mark Alvin Natividad. Gadi is rank no. 2.
