If we look at this issue at different perspective say Malaysia is the one who dominates the Badminton sports, do you think Malaysia will back off and let other countries to win given that badminton is the only sports Malaysia can win gold in Olympic? Most probably not!
The good news is even China has been dominating but other countries also are catching up except Team Denmark without capable new comers.

It is tough day for CHN, even some players are 2nd team, reaching to finals were good but they could not collect the titles at the end...LYB has always demanded his team to win...I see that WD and MS is the most disappointing one for LYB.

Come to think of it, without Lin Dan, China most probably will not win the MS event in major tournaments. WS also becomes interesting as China still rely on veteran Zhang Ning and oversea Chinese women singles are getting stronger including Zhou Mi playing for Hong Kong.
Overall, I think China still is very dominating but I don't think we will see that many all-Chinese affair either in SF and Final on all events in near future.

I think overall it is good for the sport also....we see that MS winner is not easy to be predicted. or dominated by CHN...soon will be WS ( if ZN retires soon) and WD...

did you not mentioned that there were folks from Kuching at the party ? Anyway, charged up for the coming WC 2007. Going to be interesting, its anybody guess who is going to win. Hopefully, it wouldn't turn out to be a China sweep.

Yes...they are here for Gift show in convention to promote Malaysian tourism..so in the party, they danced and played music..I was born in Indonesia side like 8 hrs by bus to Kucing.....I cooked and bartender for my special drinks....:D:D Kamquat martini, etc...

In WC...it will be interesting to see...I do not think it will be China's sweep...it is possible but very very tough....;)

Why should MAS give up? As u said Badminton is the only sports who capable of bringing a solitary gold for them in Olympics .. while CHN even among the top 3 countries in overall gold medals tally for OG... They simply afford to lost all the 5 gold in Badminton compare v other countries !

there is a certain possibles for non CHN players to feature in finals in the future.. As we all can see .. Their Woman's team is not invisible or not unbeatable as before... On any given day... Any players can beat them !
