We discussed this "strategy" on this forum before. Apparently, they didn't do that during All England because it's the most prestiguous SS which they hope to win. For Sweden SS, they could relax a bit and even if it was backfired, they had been through valuable practise sessions which would benefit them in long term. PO is not even a SS, so once they've confirmed to regain their World No.2 status, they could risk missing the title by "resuming" their "practice" in the tournament (especially a good chance to practice their mentality in crawling back from a huge gap). Of course they won't do that during WC.
Perhaps they this time they r testing their own mental strength instead? Anyway, after this tournament they should hv loads of confidence in WC.
I wouldn't say it really tested out their mental strength..it's more to that they were lucky enough to get away with some sloppy team work. A few times in the end they fumble through and barely get the shuttle over. If it was a better pair.. It would've been a decider match.. and well 3rd match.. we won't know Still, credits to them and someone mention earlier they really need to buckle up a bit more in preparation to meet the top pairs at WC.
KKK/TBH still shaky a bit compare to their previous successed tournaments...overall performance in PO is much better than INA and Sin Open. BUT, still not good enough to beat CY/FHF yet...
Going to get a dozen of beer now. Celebrating for 2 good deserving reasons that I couldn't asked for more. 1) Malaysia MS & MD won. 2) LYB and all the china gang lost.
astro maybe, but nvr expect anything from RTM. they will only show u the introduction and when it comes to playing, they will switch to Berita or something else. u know what i mean, don't u?
Yes, they showed improvement a lot,..but they still need to bring up their game to a higher level...if they were competing with CY/FHF.......its a good show they put on after a long-long drop in form.....hope they would keep training hard....be prepared for the real challenge in WC07....Go for it KKK/TBH...... Congratulation....
Ya...i agree with you...They have improved from what they display in the few tournaments recently but they are still not so fit like when they won the All England but i am glad that there are room of improvement. If this is FHF/CY,they will not take down the second set.WC is around the corner and hope they will put more effort because they are talented and should not waste it.

Another thing i feel happy with KKK/TBH win is this time they win without Rexy guidence. They should exposed moew to this kind of situation because they over depending on their coach in their previous game. They will turn behind and look at rexy whenever they face problems. This is very good to let them learn how to become independent and try to solve the problem themselves.
