Its alright, be happy :):), back to topic. I think im surprised by China WS though. ALthough XD conquered by Taipei and Korea, but other categories still as strong as ever. Still, the favourite Show will be MS & MD. Too bad, no LIVESCORE :crying:

Yes, you are right and mostly will think that way. But sometimes, the MOST UNPICKABLE one, will be the one that strike the points although same points !! :D:D:D In facts, this is my first time to pick Ronald OVER Sony.

Overall, a good day for INA.

Team Pelatnas dominates the QF for the XD with Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir, Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa and Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita all advancing. One semi-final spot is also assured as Nova/Butet will face Devin/Lita. One suprise was Mohd Rijal/Greysia Polii failing to make the cut for QF as they were beaten by the Chinese Taipei pair Fang Chieh-Min/Cheng Wen-Hsing. Fang/Chieh will challenge Flandy/Vita tomorrow. Flandy/Vita better be careful and not under-estimate them  Nothing less than a title will be acceptable here, with the withdrawals of almost ALL the top pairs

There are also 3 Pelatnas pairs in the WD. Lilyana Natsir/Vita Marissa advance as expected and they will face a stern test against Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing tomorrow. Jo Novita/Greysia Polii also did well in beating a Korean pair Hwang Yu Mi/Sun In Jang and they are likely to be defeated by Yang Wei/Zhao Tingting in the QF. The 4th seed Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti struggled against the Russian pair Nina Vislova/Valeri Sorokina and they have another tough match against Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda tomorrow.

In the MD, Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto qualify for yet another QF. If they can beat Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo (who surprisingly beat the second-seed Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya), a first final appearance in 2/3 years beckons for them. Meanwhile, the club pair Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki also did well in qualifying for the QF in beating Chew Choon Eng/Hong Chieng Hun. They have an unenviable task of beating the top-seed Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong tomorrow.

In the MS and WS, Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Adriyanti Firdasari are through to the QF. Sony faces a revenge match against Ronald Susilo (who beat Bao Chunlai today), while Firda will face Wang Yihan. It will be a big morale booster (and also improve their WR) before the WC if both players can win their matches tomorrow.

I think Gunawan lost because the rest of his group were anxious to hit the beach. ;)

Doesn't Tony pay for his own tournament expenses? Because if he does, I am sure he doesn't want to go home with a small pay-check, or none whatsoever, just to "hit the beach".:p

Or maybe Tony treats the trip as his summer holiday trip. We the ordinary people go for summer holidays and just pay and pay. Tony is different as he could still earn back part of the money that he is going to spend for the holiday ...
