Actually from what i gather on the internet.. ..(no i'm no doctor nor a medical specialist) both food poisoning and migraine headache(in this case a severe one) do have some similarities in symptoms, ie. nausea, headache, vomiting(may or may not happen in migraine headache cases). However, migraine headache doesn't have symptoms of diarrhea. And on the other hand, food poisoning doesn't have pain in arms/body(which i think is the main clue of migraine headache). Anyways, perhaps other BC members who are doctors or medical specialist can explain better.
Gade is out of the hospital. Still very uncertain if he will play this week. Regards Johansen www.badminton-nyt.dk www.fjerbolden.dk
Everyone, I am a doctor and although I have a reasonable idea of what happened to Peter, I feel that for the greater benefit of everyone, it would be better not to explain the details. For many fellow players professionals and amateurs alike, Peter is an absolute legend. We all take great interest in his welfare as well as his game. In my opinion, I feel that we should just be glad that he has now been discharged. Hearing the details would just make people feel even more worried particularly those who are not familiar with certain medical jargon. That is my opinion anyway. Doesn't everyone agree?
glad tat he is out of hospital d.even though i am a malaysian supporter , i still hope tat he can play. nway hope he gets better
F-man, i would like to hear the medical jargon involved in peter's condition. might not understand it, but will google to find out more. but i hope it'll be alright. he's such a good player.
it is not easy to give online diagnosis, especially when the symptons are given by 2nd or 3rd handed information. I learned the hard way
Judging by your notes here, Peter might have something that is not just a simple migraine. Hmmm......hope it will not deter him from playing in the future even tho I think he is ok for now.
I hope Peter the Great has regained his normal self and is fit to play tomorrow? Peter is always an attractive player and I'm sure every professional has a high regard for his skills. I have always enjoyed his many appearances in Singapore.
I am worried.. Especially when a doctor tells me that the details of Peters condition could scare me. Sounds as if you think there is a risk of it being an apoplexia (bleeding in the brain) or something like that.. And what is wrong with the Danish players.. Jens Eriksen has a permanent heart condition of some kind, but still continues to play.. and now Peter.. what is this ??? Somebody please calm me down..

PG should not play if he is not well Hi klaphat, Yeah, please calm down. In fact, I would tell PG not to play if he is not well. Cheers... chris@ccc
