    16 Lu / Huang, 12 Kim / Shin. Very difficult to win now.

    Fan of Korea's men doubles so it was pretty sad to see KSH/partner Choi and the Kims losing :(. KSH/partner gave a good fight albeit being a scratch pairing. It was rather disappointing though for the Kims to lose again, met KSR personally and got a chance to take a photo with him and became a bigger fan of him. Hope they will recuperate and play better soon.

    CTC losing out to Kashyap - not to say that the latter is bad but looks like ever since CTC's French Open triumph, he hasn't been producing results. SWH, too after the SS finals retirement- has been doing really badly. He is potentially one of Chen Long's strong rival in the future so I hope he would buck up too when the OG qualification starts.

    Okuhara getting her first win over SJH was nice - I was fine with either as I am a fan of both. Hope Okuhara can go all the way through to the finals now.

    Okay the result is out Lu Kai / Huang Yaqiong win the match 7-21, 21-14, 21-13. Well I have to congratulate both of them. Both of them really played very well today. And that also wraps up Korea performance for today. :)

    Simon is leading 13-3 over Viktor. Mission impossible for Viktor unless well a miracle happens.

    A quite incredible days play of MS.

    Not sure if anyone else is interested in badminton from a betting standpoint but definitely the most upsets I've ever seen in one MS days play, with 6 odds against winners. To compare it to the rest of the field, there were only 3 odds against winners in total (Prankaryanira/ Yusuf, Fadhilah/ Anggraini & Bernadeth/ Pradipta)

    Only 2 MS favourites won.

    Should anyone have successfully backed the 6 outsiders it would have paid 3720/1 :eek:

    Okay lots of big upsets certainly have been created. With so many top MS players been out of the fray, some big upsets will also continue to happen tomorrow. All the matches for tomorrow will be very exciting now with so many good players being knocked out and lower ranked players playing in tomorrow's QF. I am sure tomorrow's QF matches will be equally exciting. :)

    Ahsan/Hendra prevailed again today? They made many errors particularly Ahsan today. They lost the 1st set.

    As for Korea results for today, nothing much can be said now. All the players have lost except for 2 players. Tomorrow only Lee Yong Dae / Yoo Yeon Seong and Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na will continue playing. But looking at the draw for tomorrow match, it will be very difficult for Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na to win. So far they have not won any matches vs Zhang Nan / Zhao Yunlei. Then as for Lee Yong Dae / Yoo Yeon Seong it may be a tough match vs Angga Pratama / Ricky Karanda Suwardi. Lets see how is their performance tomorrow. :)

    It was another unknown pairing. It was a 3 set thriller - margin is 2-3 points per set iirc.

    Is it coincidence or me thinking like that !!!?

    H.S.Prannoy vs Jan O Jorgensen -----> H2H ----> 3-0

    All the 3 encounters were Round of 16.

    It has became an itch for Jan to cross R16 if the opponent is Prannoy.
