WYH seems to always win the 3 setters. I can't remember any match in last 12 months which she lost in the decider. On the other hand, I hope Ratchanok is OK. She should take some rest, I feel. Hey blabl, an Indian player made it too. I am sad that you forgot. Weren't you cheering for Indians just a few weeks back? Any info on what exactly happened to him?
Correction: 2. Indonesia (1 mixed double, 1 men single, 2 men doubles) Indonesia is confirmed of at least 4 bronze medals.
This guy, Samuel, could simply migrate to Singapore, Australia or New Zealand. I guarantee he will be in the National team right away

Sho Sasaki is big, hunky but slow, awkward movement on court vs. shorter, slim Kento Momota or Takuma Ueda.
My bad. In fact, there was another one vs Akane that Yihan lost in SSF. And I should have at least remembered the last one vs Xuerui. But still, I stand by that she is pretty good in the deciders in important matches.
I'm happy to notice a certain sting in WSX's game today, she was fast both in movement and shotmaking, and tried to initiate the attack a bit more than usual except that her smash still fell a little short. To be frank, until today I'm still amazed by her marvellous comeback from the doldrums and despondency that beset her more than a year ago. WYH appeared to have lost quite a bit of weight, even a little gaunt. In the match with Intanon today, I really didn't see the WYH I know, so I'm not convinced by her victory. She seemed to have difficulty stringing her shots together and made too many uncharacteristic errors as compared with the 'old' WYH. Nonetheless,it gladdens me that she has been demonstrating perseverance which is just what she needs to overcome herself, her uneven form and whatever is troubling her of late.
I have seen Jwala dancing to the Bollywood beats - never seen any China player do so (but they have been in acts, modelling (some great pics) and singing).
Cheung . Do you have any connection with or interest in India per se ? You seem to be a genuine insider expert about Indians in general , not the stereotypes .
Funny you should say that. I have been accused as an enemy for giving opinions that are objective about Indians. I am interested in good badminton as an international sport. But I don't quite understand what you mean by 'stereotypes'.
