Gutted that Leverdez was crushed, as for once he was on a TV court :p

Good results for Indonesian doubles though, they're a force to be reckoned with now with several top-level pairs.

Prannoy is very promising but his built worry me. Last year was wasted in injury. Now he is injured again. He seems more like a kabaddi player to me than a badminton player. Hope the injury is not long term (he mentioned that he is asked to rest for 3-4 weeks - so seems like a sprain).

If Simon Santoso wins today's match, he is a probable MS winner IMO.

I was about to say the same for NO but she has already lost to Sun Yu!

He's beaten THW before (in fact, he's never lost to him) and they are almost identical in current world rankings. Not really giant killing beating THW.

Okay now is the exciting match of Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na vs Tian Qing / Zhao Yunlei. As they are the only Korean players left now, hopes will be high for them to deliver. Lets see whether they can win this match. :D:)

In the first game, Ratchanok completely dominated 21-10. You can't write wang yihan off. She is a fighter.

H S Prannoy has a better built as compared to his compatriots Srikanth and Kashyap, should actually help him in reach and power.

Male Badminton players who have made a mark are generally small in built and height but there are few tall players also like Lin Dan. But all of them are slightly built.

I do not think Prannoy resembles a Kabbadi player and built has anything to do with injury ??
