Prize money for this year's event has increased from S$250,000 to S$300,000.

Premium tickets are cheaper now – one ticket costs S$120, down from S$240 in 2013. Organisers said demand for the premium tickets was poor last year.

Tickets go on sale today at sportshubtix.com. Apparently there is a new seating format this year but the seating plan is not shown on the screen.

$240 sing was really, really high. If there were a few local players with a decent shot at the semis, they might get more interest.

thanks otidh. not sure why it doesn't appear on my screen.

ps. heard from pjswift that the new ticking agent is charging a booking fee of S$7.50 compared to S$3 charged by SISTIC last year.

The organizer have updated the booking fee to S$4. I think they read your comment here, hehe.:D

    EDIT:

Oops... Sorry, I misread the text. That price is just for event day tickets. When I scrolled the page to the top again, I I found out that the booking fee for season tickets is still S$7.50. :(

    I'm not certain of this...
...but it seems even Premium Tickets are subject to restrictive seating.

In other words, you can only change seats within the block marked on your ticket.
For example, if your ticket says Premium 114, you may not change to a seat in Block 109 even if the whole block is empty

I do hope this is not true

    No worries otidh..

If I did not remember wrongly , last year's booking fee for season ticket was $3? Well.. it's still tolerable for me.

But $7.50 booking fee!? Seriously, *shake head* :(

Does anyone know what category is the seating for standard event day tickets listed on that official ticketing website?

I expect the over enthusiastic ushers to chase us away if we try to sit at a different seat.

Had to print out 6 pages for the 6-day season tickets. not very environmental friendly imho. must remember to bring the correct ticket for the tournament day

ps the sale of the Early Bird season tickets end today.
