India again gave birth to a talented young badminton player in Rajawat.
I hope his raw talent gets guidance and the right path so that he can achieve maximum performance,
otherwise his talent will be wasted.
    Congrats young man..

    Nothing explosive about him sadly.
Priyanshu won all points today, some for him some for his opponent.
Keeping the shuttle in play one extra shot is all MJ wanted and managed to do, will give him that

PR was a nerve ball in the middle, reminded of how LS used to blank against Vittinghus back then, but he held his ground to end well.

Yesterday, he had a tough match against Lei lanxi. I watched his match highlights. He was so explosive.

Aggressive players like SK, PR will make mistakes.. part & parcel of their games.. In that way only Indian players can get some points... If Indian play like regular patient game with long rallies, Indians can't match with players from East of India... with their "Mountain" Calf Muscle they can run forever & retrieve everything... with wrist only, Indian players can get some points with some errors. SK & Prannoy(with less errors) are doing same...Now PR has joined with them..

He was just nervous that’s all, don’t have to infer at that scale.

I was expecting the chinese guy to reach final . But Danish player played really well yesterday. Today , the quality of clears from Rajawat was impressive. SK and Prannoy need to learn from him. That could be the reason for the opponent not being able to be aggressive today. His physical stamina is poor . It was clearly visible in rallies. Denmark player was advised to go on in the rallies and make Rajawat tired and get points. But I have to say that PR's straight slice fast drop and forehand crosscourt stick smash from the back are his signatures. He is not making many mistakes using that

bagas/fikri must win this match, otherwise the pressure from the INA public will be even more difficult for them to bear.
Trying to replace the unsteady fikri with pramudya might be worth a try, because on the other hand yeremia hasn't returned to his best performance yet

    Gregoria? Tanjung or Widjaja?
I wouldn't consider the former as a serial error machine.
I am afraid SK's condition is plagued by far more concerning factors than just "errors".

For sure, all over the place and inconsistent. Magnus seems to have more fight in him, seems to be a fair few matches where if things aren't going Christo's way he will give up

One thing that people need to remember is that him playing doubles and travelling to tournaments (sometimes only playing doubles because he doesn't qualify for singles) eats away at singles training time. Meanwhile you have people like Magnus grinding singles full time with Danish national team. Something that I think the Popovs really need to consider

Congrats to Rajawat, some of the shots were exhibition stuff,
I actually thought he played better in the semi’s,
what happened in the 2nd set?, it’s as though he shifted down a gear and lost focus.

Still, he’s a real prospect, i only marked Lakshya as a rising star but don’t know what’s happened to him lately.
