Wow, how was the match? I didn’t see it, but from the scoreline it looks like he pulled an Antonsen on Antonsen, dropping the second set 5-21 and then taking the third with ease, 21-10.

I only watched parts of the match, but AA got a 8-0 lead in G2 so I believe, just like you that AL pulled an Antonsen and dropped G2 to be fresh for G3 which he totally dominated.

Alex Lanier has an all round game. He played brilliantly. I watched 1st game and half of 3rd game. He is solid . Moving Antonsen to all corners of the court. Only missing shots are drop shots from the back. Other than that, he did not look like an 18 year old.

This is huge for France and Lanier. They are growing really fast and it will be a setback for Denmark. England is nowhere near these two

Impressive from Lanier. Magnus Johannesen seems to be playing very well too.

I know there are some benefits to the Popov's playing doubles, but overall I really think they need to just focus on one...

Japan should create team C and give Ohori there.

    waste of resources
    waste of money
    waste of accommodation
    waste of youth
    waste of everything

Especially Christo, I think he has developed instincts which are not good for singles game. He could be one of best at singles.

Popov bro´s definately need to stop playing doubles, they both have much more potential as MS players

I am very excited about the rise of France in European Badminton the last couple of years. If you only look at players 25 years or younger I think France is basically already ahead of Denmark: Clearly in MS with 4 players (Popovx2, Lanier, Merkle) currently ranked higher than the best Dane (Johannesen) and in XD. Denmark is still stronger in WS and maybe WD, but MD is about even.

How did they get there? Denmark has been dominant for decades…

I don't know what Nishimoto was doing on court.

Lost 8 consecutive points at the beginning. He seems didn't know how to take point from his opponent

Dont worry. Rajawat gave him 4 points so far by doing mistakes

He seems to underestimate his opponent to play with slow race.

Or he runs out of gas from the tournament before.

It's funny that Nishimoto show the signal 4 to remind umpire about the scores :D:D:D

I doubt that Nishimoto will win this match.

Look like he's out of gas.
