Law 13.4.2 invades an opponent’s court over the net with racket or person except that the striker may follow the shuttle over the net with the racket in the course of a stroke after the initial point of contact with the shuttle is on the striker’s side of the net; =========================================================== As law 13.4.2 states: a player's racket can over the net with a legal stroke. If a player tries to play a net kill, but in a hurry the player hits the shuttle with frame, the shuttle bounces up, and still towards to opponent's court( shuttle still in play ) then the player's racket is over the net with this strike In this situation, is it a Fault or NOT? ............when the player's racket is over the net
It's not a fault, because §13.4.2 just requires a stroke (in other words, hitting the shuttle). There is no mandate that that should be good, or anything else. In other words, frame hits are strokes as well (§13.3.7). As long as you've hit the shuttle, your racket can then go over the net.
