Thats right..damn it!..I almost got one watching Kido yesterday..I had to go to toilet just to calm my self...it was scary...thats what people say...when you are getting old...your heart is weaker.....today also after Flavi got chased from 20-11 to 20-17...
I think I have the same prediction as you do. This particular event will be all Indonesians Final and continuing the Indonesia's olympic gold medal history, at least. European fans still put some hopes to the Danish duo (Paaske/Rasmussen) even though they have to face the current World No. 1. It is obviously not an easy job for the only non Asian players remains in the competition. I think the Indonesian pair will secure their place in the final.
All INA opponents tomorrow are no pushover. In XD, there are Korean whiz kid and China youngsters. In MD, experienced uncles who beat the AE champions. In WS, 2004 OG gold medalist. All the best for INA players!
Actually, it's Flandy who didn't play at his best. He looked like thinking about something else but the game. Later he admitted he's not focus on the game couple of times. He gave credit to Vita for keeping cool and playing well...
It was very apparent during the match. Vita saved the day on the third game and she was encouraging/giving pep-talk to Flandy.
Maria has more racket skills than susi but worse court coverage. Zhang will try to blow her away in first game. I would not be surprised with a swift victory in 1st set to ZN. In many ways (this may sound obvious) the first set is the most crucial. If Maria start slow and it is a quick game then ZN will win. The longer the first game is and Maria can twist ZN around the court, the more chance Maria has. ZN will have far more focus and intensity than Tine and Saina though..She should beware ZN doesn't want to lose her title. Defending title woulc be the best leaving present for Zhang
I agree with this analysis 100%!!! One thing Maria has that Zhang Ning doesn't: youth! Maria: 23 years old Zhang Ning: 33 years?!?
Exactly.....over the past few years we have seen the steady decline of Zhang......losing stamina is the main reason behind this. One thing Zhang Ning has shown though is that she would, I honestly believe rather die than lose a game of badminton. She has the heart and fight of no one I have ever seen. She has been a professional player for 15 years, it would be easy for her to pack up and leave. I still can't get over the desire to beat Pi in QF - Did you see it? She was hurting so much and pulled through. I had a tear in my eye when she broke down at the end. Any player could do well to absorb some of this desire.
I am about badminton & Sport, It is something about the elation of seeing peoples hard work pay off that gets to me. I guess I wish I could do it. Otherwise I am Robot
Dont worry..Even Robot can cry..... Have you seen AI by Spielberg and starred by a kid of Sixth sense? thats sad movie...that Robot has emotion....
Darn Sony, if you won, I would've got 100% on my prediction Well, LCW deserved the win, so I'll cheer for LCW to win gold.
