Will need Famemas supporters to boost LCW's energy and determination for this match.

Lee Chong Wei defeated Nguyen Tien Minh 22-20 in the first set, 21-11 in the second.
There was no sign of tiredness from our World No.1 player. Therefore, the title is his to lose tomorrow against Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand. My prediction : 75% chance of Lee Chong Wei taking the title. Note that Boonsak took 3 matches to bring down a stubborn but tired Peter Hoeg Gade.

I've seen you make the mistake before, so just to correct you. When you say "match", you really mean "game". BP took 3 games to bring down PG. A match consists of all the 3 games. BP won the match against PG, but he needed 3 games to do so.

2010 Malaysian Open SS Finals: Lee Chong Wei-vs-Boonsak Ponsana

    .
Hahaha... You are optimistic. Perhaps a 2-to1 odds (66.66% chance) is more realistic.

It's good that LCW did not need to play a 3-games match against NTM. LCW should be fresher than BP at the Finals.

In Badminton ... It is from Points-to-Games-to-Match only

    .
We are getting mixed up with Tennis. :p:p:p

In Tennis ......... It is from Points-to-Games-to-Sets-to-Match.
In Badminton ... It is from Points-to-Games-to-Match only (no Sets are required).

We are off topic now: But just to make clearer for ourselves

    .
Hehehe, yes, we are off topic now.:eek::eek:
    But just to make it clearer for ourselves;

In a Mens International Tennis match:
A match consists of the best of 5 sets.
A set consists of the best of 6 games (with tie-breakers involved, if required).
A game consists of the best of Tennis points (with a difference of 2 points involved at deuce, if required).

In a Mens International Badminton match:
A match consists of the best of 3 games.
A game consists of the best of Badminton points (with a difference of 2 points involved between the 20th and 30th points, if required).

Hope that you are not getting more confused from here.:eek::eek:

I see. Game = The person who gets wins the game point.
Match = Best out of 3.
Alright, no more confusion now. :)
Anyway, I think LCW has good chance against BP.

    .
On the contrary, I wish for every success for Lee Chong Wei. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

And, I think he can win the 2010 Malaysian Open, after his much better form at the Semi-Finals.

I really admire NTM. If not mistaken I read somewhere that he says he doesn't have sparing partner in training back home and here, he managed to get a game off the WR#1. Hats off to him.

Not exactly a game off, but 20-22 :p Yeah, what I admire most about NTM is his fighting spirit. Hope to see him soar high.

    Correct..

..i hope everyone sees and reads this.
However, for baddy, there is no difference of 2 pts at 30th pt. 30 is the max, so the difference is just 1 pt (30-29).
