AP beat the Australia Open Champion THW and then go on to lost the next round. It seems this is happening regularly for AP (where he beat a relatively good player and then subsequently losing the next round to a relatively unknown/good descent player). Anand will be 27 this year, and time is running out for him to shine. Was a good 'encouragment' for AP to beat THW but AP could not keep up the good performance. Was it lacking in skill? But definately not lacking in the experience dept.

I don't think this is due to lack of skill. Because if it is due to lack of skill, then it would be difficult to beat a player like Tian Houwei who is in peak form (who has beaten World No.1 and very good player like LCW). This is because of his lack of self motivation.. He never believe in himself. I have seen him playing excellently well against somebody as if nothing remains for tomorrow and playing bad against some players as well at the same time. He should believe in himself before entering the court. This is what happening to him everytime.
Good to see Andre Kurniawan Tedjono [6] progressing to R16 after beating Guo Kai in straight-sets 22-20, 21-19. He will face Arvind Bhat [13] for a place in the last 8. H2H is 2-0 in Andre's favor.
The top-seed in XD, Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili have a tough opening match and if they win that, an even harder match awaits them tomorrow. Now, their first match is entering the decider set.
First test passed by Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili. Up next will be Liu Yuchen/Huang Dongping, who reached SF last week after beating Kido/Pia.
in 2009 ajc i witnessed ow/yew thrashed li gen/song ziwei (twice) i even uploaded their video in 2013 li gen still the same li gen
and this is baidu description of Li gen! be prepare to be shock! http://baike.baidu.com/view/216505.htm#sub6750452
His ang moh face boleh tahan... lol But his description as a massively potential player.... eehhh...not really...at least I'm not that convinced... yet.....well, he and his partner just got thrashed by MAS pair...
I'm keeping a close eye on MAS fuzzy pair and LKW/GVS... but BAM will do whatever they want (duh) even if fuzzy pair make it here, BAM will not select them for WC...
Still can jump mah... Look at Ah How! Hopefully he and TWK will get the early draw in Axiata instead of KKK/TBH.
