Same here, it's not even close. For me, it's hard to beat the design of the LEs. Just about every time I walk by a basketball court, ballers ask what shoe I have and where can they buy them. When I tell them it's for badminton, they are like, "Bad...what?"
Don't dig them... I still can't get over the SHB99's looks... Everytime I take them out of the bag, it seems to glitter like gold to me
do you want to ge your hands on the shb79's or shb99LE's? i would recommend the shb999LE other the shb79 because of durability and looks... i think most people here will agree with me
yup go for the shb99 but if you can buy both models better you could try the '79 and post your review of the shoe
Actually i might just get a pair of SHB99 not the LE since i prefer color of the regular one but i've been trying to find a pair of mid-cut shoes for a while and it seems i could only get them in japan for now
I wish I had 99Le, too bad I got my pair of 99mx before Le came out :crying: The price difference is definitely worth the glitter and fame. lol
Ankle support question How's the gameplay using this shoes? I'm curious that this shoe is high cut like a boot....does it cover the ankles as well? I would like to know if it supports the ankle well...if i t does I might buy one.
new model will be coming out next year, similar to the above shoe's spec something like SHB-80MD, SHB-80WMD
I just wish they'd produce some like they used to, I can't remember the model number but they were white with purple and turquoise trim and EVERYONE had them !
the pair of shb79w-mid i got for a friend's christmas thing (the red one) just arrived this morning. i compared it with my other shoes, and they're not that much higher. (98, 99, 65r) and they're all the same size. i threw them on in the living room for fun, and they're noticably wider throughout the shoe. so overall, if you're worried about them coming out looking like basketball shoes, don't... its not necessary. they're just a touch higher than the other shoes. barely noticable by anyone else but yourself.
