Eric is expecting all the new Victors some time in Feb, but he doesn't know exactly what date yet. I suspect the price will be inline with the other top-of-the-line Victors but haven't asked him.

It seems JJS is using the Meteor in the current KO SF match against KKK/TBH but after the interval, he switch back to the SW35.

Surprising, it is LYD whose smash is faster ! I think he hit like 269km/h which was the fastest for the day. I always think that LYD doesn't have power smash but I think maybe as he is getting older, he is probably putting more muscle and hence now more power.

Nope he's still using the BS09. And I think I saw a 279km/h from LYD against KKK and TBH but maybe I'm wrong.

LYD is still using his favourite BS09 which is why I am surprised his smash is so fast. The BS09 is not known as a power racquet.

Yes, no power smash during match play which is very disappointing indeed.

While I watched the entire match and all his smashes can be pick up easily by the Korean pair.... most of the time... no thread for his smashes at all....

    Yes.... BS09....

Actually I am very surprised a professional player use a flexible racket like brave sword 9 can smash at 279 km/h . All the while is stiff rackets like Yonex Z-slash and Fu haifeng previous Ti 10 making records. Now Lee Yong dae has make it history for flexible racket to hit smashes that well.

In badminton it all depends on power + technique + timing + racket(small %) = perfect shot....

Actually, I find that the BS09 packs quite a punch although its not such a stiff racket.

Actually if you notice, alot of the power smashes are returned when it should have been outright kill.

The commentator says that when the weather is cold, the shuttle will slow down so that though the initial speed of the smash is fast, by the time it reaches the opponent, he will be able to hit it back. I think this theory is true as when I play in HK (which is cold right now), it is very hard to do a outright smash kill even from 1/2 court.

I noticed the Korea MD player, Yoo Yong Seong was doing warm up with the Meteor X80 but switch to SW35 just before the game start.

This doesn't bode well for the Meteor X80, kind of remind me of the Spira 21.
