New Aerus Z looks like lighter than previous one with 240 grams.
Radial blade sole is new here.

Have they downgraded these comapared to the older model? I looking at the specs and they only have power cushion instead of power cushion plus for the soles.

Nevermind me - i looked at the product page and it only mentions power cushion, but if i look at the marketing promotion page it says its got power cushion plus.

Wish they kept a black color, or maybe a limited black/gold theme is coming

Have played with the wide model for a month and noticed that the grip of the left shoe has worn down flat. I play on regular green mat badminton courts so this is very surprising and disappointing. I don't play much (3, maybe 5 hours a week)

The shoe performed great outside of the durability - I've never experienced such poor performance in this aspect from a badminton shoe.

Has anybody else experienced this with this model?

Most single players wear those down quickly. Can't be the "lightest" or one of the lightest badminton shoe and be durable.

But at the same time Im not very surprised. Yonex badminton shoes and durability don't go along very well

I was really close to getting the new wide version but then pulled back.. thinking about durability.
My current Eclipsion Z2 started developing tears in about 6 months. The Aerus outsole doesn't feel that tough and also the cushion is relatively low. I didn't like the ash grey colour.
