NanoSpeed 9000 Review

It's the same string pattern as the NS7000 and NS8000 right? If so:

 

It is different from AT800/NS8K. Read the attached figure and you will see the difference.

It looks like to me it's the same except Yonex now recommends we start from the bottom cross string and finishs at the top...that's how I've been doing it all along...and recommended this to Yonex, believe it or not. Maybe they listened...

...but then again, it is Yonex, maybe not.

 

thanks very much guys, my stringer took out the origional strings and didn't realise it was a different pattern to the ns8k.

 

Well, if I'm reading it right, it's not a different pattern. The only difference is instead of starting the cross at the top and finishing at the bottom, it's reversed, you start at the bottome and finish at the top.

Can anyone confirm this? Thanks, too busy at work to do a detailed check.

That is pure dedication (towards badminton) that you are able to notice it even when you are busy at work. salute.

 

Or, just start at the middle, if you use 2 pieces (4 knots) method.

 

You gotta teach me how to do that, I'll try anything once...well almost anything.

When we bring the racquet to get it strung, how do we know that the stringer is stringing the racquet properly?

Can someone from thailand please tell me how much is the nanospeed 9000x model?

I am going in April to the Yonex Shop.

 

i heard from my sources that TH ns9000x wont come out b'cuz many distributors are complaining about TH prices, or if they ever come out they will be sold at the same price as SP, JP, etc. but again somebody told me there will be (some) TH coded that will be sold, so i guess will just have to wait and see.

 

Hmm... JP and SP prices are drastically different from what I heard though...

 

what i mean is that TH prices are like half the price of SP, and SP is a little under JP, so they are going to put it nearer the SP, JP price range.

 

Is the gap really that big?
and from what I've seen TW prices are pretty low too... almost half of JP... but it's still a bit more than TH... I always thought JP was a lot more expensive than SP, but having never bought anything outside of the TW range, I don't really know

 

let me put it this way, i got my ns8000TH for around 6thousand pesos converted('cuz a friend got it for me in thailand), the ns8000SP is sold here for 15-16thousand pesos. JP i have no idea how much its sold here in pesos(b'cuz i havent seen a store sell JP coded rackets here) but i guess maybe more than SP. so if the news is true then TH version might be sold around the 14thousand and above price range. so that the price difference will not be that far from the rest of the pack.

 

that's interesting. I just did a quick currency conversion, and NS8000TW (which is NT$4500 in Taiwan), converts nicely to 7082.25 pescos

From what I hear from Taiwanese stores, NS9000 is expected to be around $4800 to 4850 New Taiwan Dollars, which is about 7550-7650 pescos or so.
