NS8000 old color is as durable as the new color. Just be careful with the date code. Don't get one that is in 2005. If the color does not bother you, just get the new color.

Hi, am using arm 900t and i think that this racket isn't good for me. I am always using head heavy rackets but i want to try and one head light. Is nanospeed 8000 good head light racket? I want a quick and power racket for all hits.

About the date code... How do I know?
I plan on buying a NS8000, new colour, on Badminton Alley, so I shouldn't be worried about date codes or anything right?

I doubt Badminton Alley would still have 2005 still around. If you are worried, just call them and say, I want a certain date code and ask them to tell you what it is.

Just curious, why are you buying from US when you can get it from Canada.

Well, since I'm buying the new colour, there shouldn't be a 2005 around right? :O

Um, any online stores in Canada you wanna suggest? :D

New color should have date code 2007 and after. Don't worry.
Any local store near you? Where do you live?

I live in Edmonton, and of course, there's The Sweet Spot.
But a relative of mines wants to get me a Racket, and she lives in the U.S, so... Yeah, haha xD

Anyone experience a separation between the Nanospeed 8000 shaft and the handle? I'm considered a more "power and smash" player by the people I play with and experience a degrading between the shaft and handle of both my Nanospeed 8000s (pre-new gold color). I witnessed a chipping of the paint and a loosening of the shaft where the the shaft and the handle meet. So far I've returned 2 racquets b/c of this. Yet I love the feel of the racquet and the consistency of shots. They're currently strung at 25-26lbs with Nanogy strings and both U.S. versions of the racquet. I've tried and purchased the Nanospeed 9000 b/c I hear the durability is far better than the 8000 yet I feel the 8000 is better in terms of quicker defensive control. Anyone else experience this odd phenomenon?
