1) Define head light. And I am not talking about blond joke. 2) Medium stiffness/flex is all relative. Please find a lawyer who is welling to do this charity work for you.
ok maybe i posted things out of anger after having tried that NS7700 in which I had much expectations to switch to. But we have to agree, description on most yonex racquets are so wrongly advertised. I really would like to read on what criteria yonex representatives based their racquets' description.
No, you have the right to be angry. I was disapointed with the racquet when i first tried it out because of the vib filter cap. I can not feel any shot. However, my wife love it because she can hit it harder and not to feel any thing. It is just preference. If you like head light racquet, try NS8000. I like it better than NS7700. The durability could an issue because the slim frame.
i agree with silentheart. a lot has to be based on personal preference and also, i love the ns8000 as well. i try my best to take good care of them because i know they do kind of lack durability
7700 verdict so whats the final verdict for the racket on an overall basis?.....from what i read...it seems like an ordinary racket thta lacks feel due to the vfc...in that case would the ns8000 or ns9000 be a better choice...
so if i dont want to sacrifice too much on power, would i be better off getting the ns7000 rather than the ns7700?
not really... my net play is tighter with NS 7.7k than when i use NS 7k. it might take some time to get used to but it definately isn't an ordinary racket that lacks feel due to the VFC. the power produced by it is commendable. When i travel to Korea or Hong Kong, i plan to buy 1 more to use when my strings break.
look, it's very simple (if you liek the ns77) -ns7700: good -VFC: bad it's just rubber (DISCLAIMER: Don't do it!)
Lol! If you can just transplant a different type of Yonex cap like the CSC cap it could make a difference!!
the balance of 7700 is different ... therefore the head is heavier ... however, the overall weight is the same as 8k and 9ks ... 9kx is slightly heavier ... very slight ...
How is the balance compared to an AT-700? I heard this was like a NS 7000 and AT 700 combined? So should be stiff and head-heavy?
i got my 7700 @ misterkeen ordered thru peterlsd =) i love them , mister keen after my racquet broke after 2 mths they gave me a new one right away no question asked they didnt even ask me to wait for them to send it to sunrise ( dealership in hongkong ) they just gave me a new one first now i m gonna retry the 7700 =)
hey all, it's quite disheartening to read about some of the breakages with this racquet. just last night there was a person who was winding up for a smash when his racquet broke near the cone and flew to another row of courts behind him. when i took a break from playing to inspect his racquet, i saw it was a fake. (i assumed it was a fake the first time i saw it because it was far too bright compared to the one i was playing with) but yeah, dont' know if anyone here had breakages near the cone! seems like a fragile racquet...
