Hello, at first I went with an astrox 100zz, but after a few sessions i tried the nanoflare 800 Lt, and immidietly felt in love with it. Also the smashes were great with that. But it's hard to find any reviews of people who uses this racket. Is it really that uncommon and no one plays with this racket? If I find something about this racket it's just some videos of YouTubers. But it seems no one are really playing with that. Am I wrong? If someone tried this racket or uses it, what's your thoughts?
My main racquet is Nanoflare 800Lt 4ug5. I think the LT only refers to the paintwork and there's no different spec other than that. It took me a bit of getting used to it because of the dimensions of the racquet when compared to Nanoray800 (previous racquet), but everything feels great about it. Drops, clears, net shots, serving. Obviously smashes with Astrox / Voltrik's will be stronger.
I'm curious as to where you got a 4u version of 800lt? The LT is meant to be a lighter version of the nf800, similar to how there's a duora 10 lt, which is 4u compared to 3u of regular d10. I get the sneaking suspicion that either you got a normal nf800 that for some reason has 800lt paint job, a fake, or otherwise mixing it up with nf700 ltd. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
That's what I bought. Shouldn't be a fake as that site is a big seller of Yonex things. All I know it was described as Nanoflare 800 lt, 4ug5 size.
You should be able to find the weight 4U or 5U on the cap of the racket where they indicate max string tension. I honestly never seen 4U version of NF800LT.
website literally says 5U https://www.directsportseshop.co.uk/yonex-nanoflare-800-lt-badminton-racket-blackice-blue-968B
also the color "black-ice blue" is not correct. its black-gold. So it seems you got maybe the nanoflare 800 ( 4u - in black-ice blue), cause the LT is 5u and black-gold.
i cannot edit my post. the coloration of the 800LT is really called black-ice blue. i am surprised^^ but 800LT ist just the 5U verision of the normal nanoflare 800.
