    Quite a number of exciting ties

    Chen Hong vs Bao CL - 60-40 ------> 4-star rating :p
    Lee TS vs Marleve Mainaky - 50-50 -------> 4-star rating :p
    Kenneth Jonassen vs Niels C. Kaldau - 80-20 -----> 1-star rating
    Roslin Hashim vs Shon SM - 55-45 -------> 3-star rating ;)
    Chen Yu vs Aamir Ghafar - 99.99-0.01 -------> no star :eek:
    Xia XZ ns Lee HI - 55-45 --------> 5-star rating :D
    Anders Boesen vs Hafiz Hashim - 50-50 -------> 3-star rating ;)
    Yong HK vs Hidetaka Yamada - 70-30 ------> 2-star rating :)

    i thinkt the Yu Chen vs Aamir Ghaffar match may be a bit closer than you think. there are only 6 ranking positions between them - aamir will be hard pushed but he is improving all the time

    I'm sure he's not British originated. Where does he comes from?
    Pakistan?

    i've no idea unfortunately, I don't think he's one of the group of players that seemed to have moved here within the last few years and taken up places in the british team.

    He's from Afghanistan originally I think.

    I do think that Chen Yu should win though. He has more ranking points from fewer tournaments, and he has much more experience of big tournaments. Most of Ghaffar's tournaments have been smaller ones. Would be nice to see a shock though.

    Dammit I'm getting annoyed! This is the first time since 1999 I haven't been to the All England, and I want to be there! I'm saving myself for the world championships this year though!

    I imagine the Xia XZ vs Lee HI will favour Xia a lot more. Maybe 60-40 for Xia?

    Only Malaysia, China, and Denmark have players left in the draw. Mighty Indonesia has no players left. China has 3 players through to the next round and Malaysia will have 3 or 4 players through. Denmark will have 1 or 2 players though. The tournament is getting interesting.

    This is unconfirmed...but I think Hafiz has beaten Anders 2-0. Malaysia looks strong, hope we keep it up.

    Good prediction Ron, but only just.

    Must have been real battles. Anybody watching on Thursday had a real treat.

    Cheung,

    I wished I could predict the scores but I was merely confirming what was posted on the BAE site. If I can predict scores, I will make a mint in Vegas.
