Hi everyone, I need some input. I'm currently use MP99 but want to upgrade my racket as my old MP99 worn out. I look at AT900 Technique and it interested me. Oh I'll get AT900 T 3U version. Also I've been using MP99 3U version. Can anyone enlighted me on these in term of the comparison between the two. 1. power 2. maneuverability 3. defense 4. touch/feel 5. tiredness after use (like using At700 and my arm and shoulder are sore) 6. Accuracy generate from same swing Thank you for all your help. Dan
I actually just ordered both of these rackets today. I'll keep you an update. Going to use it on Thursday.
hi dan i actually had the mp99 for a few months before changing to the AT900 T, both were strung at 24lb with bg80. i changed over due to needing a slighlty lighter racket which was more suited to the doubles game plus i have week wrists and needed a more manoeuvrable racket. I loved the AT900 T, yes you do lose a bit of power (a little bit) but you gain awesome manoeuvrability and super fast drives along side great defense. i've given both rackets ratings according to your requirements: AT900 and MP99 ratings out of 10 1. power AT900 8 --- MP99 9 2. maneuverability AT900 9----- MP99 7 3. defense AT900 9 ----- MP99 8 4. touch/feel AT900 9 ------MP99 9 5. tiredness after use AT900 10 ------MP99 8/9 6. Accuracy AT900 9------MP99 8/9 both are great rackets and the at900 t would be a good racket to change to as long as it suits your game hope that helps
In my opinion, 1. power - MP99 2. maneuverability- AT900T 3. defense- AT900T 4. touch/feel - MP99 5. tiredness after use - AT900T 6. Accuracy generate from same swing - AT900T = mp99 both of these rackets are awesome. they won each other only by a slight margin, it all depends whether you like your racket to be head heavy or balanced. Hope this helps.
yes agree with khawai on all expect feel but dont get me wrong the mp99 feels great and i guess you could put it on par with at900t but its all about personal preference
I like MP99. You may not get used to the AT900T. If u want power, go for MP99. If u want more defense, go for AT900T. Both are totally different racquets. One is even balance, while other is more towards head heavy. It's all dependant on its user IMO.
In my opinion, 1. power - MP99 2. maneuverability - AT900T 3. defense - AT900T 4. touch/feel - MP99 5. tiredness after use -AT900T 6. Accuracy generate from same swing- AT900T/MP99 The AT900T has a heavier head than the MP99, which is more balanced. It just depends if you want more defense or offense. Hope this helps!
