I think it is safe to assume that we will see the Cup being lifted during the Thomas Cup. I meant drinking cups, of course, lifted by limsy in his waiter role ...... . As per his last picture above.
Well, if you all can gain access to the Thomas Cup, you all can touch2 & actually lift it, carry it, inspect every inch like what happen during TC/Uber 2008. Just it wouldnt be LCW lifting the cup, it'll be BC Champions

"Winning and holding" the Thomas Cup is a piece of cake as long as the tournament is held in Jakarta or KL. Quite a number of BC forummers have "won" the cup, most recently in 2008. In other venues, security is tighter, the crowd is tamer, and touching the Cup is very difficult. Funny, even avataar mentioned that limsy attracts the fairer folks at the Museum and Petaling Street .........
much due thanks to my two gracious hosts - "abedeng & limsy" for spending somuch time with me and making it a worthwhile trip to abedeng : for guiding me right from the very start and ensuring i was comfortable all along to limsy : for reserving seats for me on all dyas, even during the finals day. treating me to the sounds and delicacies of chinatown and ensuring we were in the company of "cuties" had a great time, the satay session at kajang, breakfast at golden horses with pjswift and jen(great to see them again after the WC at hyd) not forgetting to mention that we also were in the company of ZHANG NING, wonderful seafood feast at the BC dinner post finals thanks to ants - also fun to meet fastdrop and terry and the very cute lenneth the awesome dinner with abedeng and limsy at KLCC and long chitchat sessions over the very many cups of wonderful coffee and tea and our final farewell session at KLIA with the backdrop of "some more cuties" was also fun to meet ronnie14, kilod, jk1980, press100, jimmygoh, era,badwally, datuklow, getting a glimpse of the socalled not so photogenic winnie and getting to see the photo of "old george" (courtesy limsy). ALL IN ALL FUN TIMES!! Looking fwd to catching up with all in MAY..
