WL is volleyball shoes. It had lateral support but the heel is abit higher to help for high jump on volleyball & thus it would less stable for badminton.
Pretty much as above. I've got a pair of asics sky elite mt that I use when I start getting any injuries, but if you're prone to twisting your ankle, I wouldn't recommend any volleyball shoes. Note: I use an ankle locking shoe lacing technique that helps with these shoes, without it I wouldn't have enough lateral support for badminton. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
I have the Mizuno Wave Lighting as back up shoes and they are not nearly as grippy as Wave Fang. Also, the rear sole lands mostly on foam and has rubber bits protruding to hit the floor. Sometimes if you are stretching for a bird the heal will slide on contact. I have owned over 150 pair of indoor court shoes over 40 years and cannot understand this design from Mizuno. It's also one of their signature volleyball shoe lines and I'm originally a volleyball player! Lol - not recommended!
