4444 4444 I've thought about this magical figure recently. Little did I know that I've crossed it today and in my conversation or "tit for tat" (or tac-au-tac in French) with X Ball!!!
so are you sure HH will be sacked if he doesn't perform up to par after these 2 tournaments?? i don't think so.
X Ball, the great stirrer of BC, 'cos your post claiming HH will topple LD in CHN, this thread has added at least 5 pages, 10 more to come whether HH win or lose, since bananakid is here too, hehhehehe...........
Good one Li De Quan. You can fool many people a lot of the times but you cannot fool people ALL THE TIME.
Surely my friend...surely it must be quite simple to guess. To PUT PRESSURE ON HH to perform (obviously you did not stretch your brain enough).
i did stretch my brain on this, but i was just hoping HH would be really gone with the wind if he still keeps his yoyo attitude.
nicol would not be sacked even if she lost a few times. maybe it was just to take care of an investment since she is training overseas and surely the cost of her training if much higher than hafiz. plus hafiz is a club player. the government only pay for his participation in tournaments and not his other expenses. and even if the government is paying for some of his expenses it is surely much less than nicol's since he is training locally. i know people like to mention the bumiputra advantage everytime things like this happen but maybe we all dont know the whole story. how much exactly is being spent on nicol and how much exactly is being spent on hafiz? but before you guys pounce on me, i have to say that whatever is the cost for nicol it is worth every penny. she has shown that she deserved to be given whatever she needs to compete. and she has shown that she is a winner. go nicol!!!! as far as i known, nobody in badminton were ever sacked. usually they retire. maybe that is what misbun is trying to say to hafiz. if he could not show his winning potential in the two tournaments maybe it is time he steps down and just help out during training and not compete internationally anymore. well, we'll have to wait and see what would happen after the two tournaments. no sportsmen and sportswomen in malaysia have ever been sacked unless it is a discipline issue and i have never heard of any discipline problems with hafiz. he is trying very hard and he is training very hard. he is just not winning for who knows what reason. if he was slacking around and missing training and losing then i am all for sacking him. but i agree there is a limit to the chances that he should be given. if he is not gonna come out of this rut anytime soon maybe we should stop sending him for overseas competition. and as maybe the two tournament might be the stop or go point for him, i sincerely hope he will rise to the occasion.
