M'sia lost in 3rd set 15-13. couldn't quite put the game away. Maybe a little tired.
They will still need to improve to get to the top. Chew is weaker. Movement not so good. If Chew can raise his game just a little more (footwork speed) and more consistent drives, he will be able to control the game very well.

Hey Myc, here's the final score:

    INA bt MAS 12-15, 15-5, 15-13

    Some comments:
The Malaysians were very good in defence during the first game and came on with some very fast-paced, powerful attacks as well. Tony/Halim were left flat-footed more than once and from what I remember, seemed to be netting a lot of shots.

Second game - Indonesians got their act together and C-C had no chance against them at all. No offense to the Malaysians but I think INA should have been playing this way all along.

Third game - quite evenly matched although INA's experience showed through. When C-C led 13-11, I thought it was gonna be a major upset but didn't turn out that way.

On the whole, very well-played on the Malaysians' part. Don't know if anyone else agrees with me but I was expecting more form Tony/Halim.

Btw, pls dun take this too seriously... I don't profess to be an expert.

    A very relieved Adel

Tony made uncharacteristics errors at the forecourt and Halim wasn;t too consistent at other times hence easy points given away.

Halim's smash is still as wicked as ever.
