Can we post here for tokyo 2021 :D ?

MS- Kento Momota, on home soil, no more Shi Yuqi to threaten him, and he will benefit from the lockdown more than Ginting, as he already know this situation (training without competing), so he wouldn't have any problem

WS- Chen Yufei, P.V Sindhu or Carolina Marin, the last 2 are at the top when it comes to big event, and CY is only getting etter and better.
An Se Young, is, as her name say, too Young. She's fanastic but I don't think she'll have what it takes now to beat any peak Top5 WS. I hope for Okuhara and Yamaguchi to be at their best and challenge thoses 3, and TTY have like a block when it comes to big event, lack of hunger maybe ?

MX - Really hard to tell, but I will go with Jordan/Oktavianti, they can beat Zheng/Huang, and Watanabe might focus on MD.

MD- Endo/Yuta first, Hendra/Ashan second, because of the Rio fiasco+ the Japanese are playing on home soil, and Yuta has a lot of room for impovement given his age. I don't see the minions winning it for the same reasons i don't see TTY winning it

WD- Matsumoto/Nagahara, they simply have what I takes to win big events, tho I hope for Fuku/Hiro to win poor of them, 3 silver. The koreans can play the trouble maker, dark horses as always. Chen/Jia are nowhere to be seen...

In Japan Open 2018 and 2019, we see:

Nozomi went thought final two times.

Ginting and Shi Yuqi didn't go to semi-final. Momota won the tile two times along with different players in podium

Marcus/Kevin won the title two times

one of China's mixed pairs will play the final match won the title

one of Japan's women pairs will play the final match

    2020 + 1 will:

    the same
