KKK / TBH have let the malaysian fans down. They are not performing very well but will make it up with an olympic gold medal. That is their target. The draw is very favourable to them. They get the best draw. First the Japanese pair..who have beaten them in the world cup. They get their revenge match. Then they are drawn to meet the Indon pair which they have beaten many many time. So it is very very good draw and if they win it will be a fairy tale for them...I think they will receive datukship like Nicol. However, they still don't understand how to play well and there is no hunger in their match. They are defending 80% of the time. They are employing the wrong tactics! They keep lifting the shuttles high and try to get points from their opponents' mistakes and too bad this can never happen in top quality badminton. Their defence crumbled and they lose tamely...sad to say but true. I think they will wait another 4 years....to get back that lost chance.

I have said it again and I will say it again. Koo and Tan as a pair are over. They are useless together. They lost in the World Championships. We forgave them. They then lost their title at the All England tamely. Then they couldn't defend any of their titles this year. Then they lost us the Thomas Cup. The last straw was when they lost a few days ago.

I says something when Koo dives and retrieves a shuttle when Tan could just lean forward and get it. They are not good together. Split them up.

It is normal...today, we saw LCW hugged Misbun and LHI was waiting for LCW....today we saw ZN ran to her coach and Maria was waiting for ZN......
    You can judge!!;)

yeah that shows class from LHI and Maria. Still the victor should hug his/her opponent first...it used to be that way - not sure when the trend was reversed.

Now, now, you are getting ahead of yourself here.

You did a so-called psychological evaluation on me with your little 'still emotionally affected' finding. Now, let me again tell you I am not disgusted with BAM, FAM, etc. I am just telling things here as is. And fyi, our sports have declined over the years. To ignore it is being ignorant. So, do not take me telling things as is as a sign of me being emotionally affected, unhappy or have an axe to grind. I dont. I am thankful for what I have today.

Ok, as for your pick on 'poor people' thing, can you provide some instances where I picked on these poor souls? Did I throw petty or personal insults? Lets not make blanket statements here. You accused me of picking on some poor people, I am now asking you to provide me the evidence that I picked on these 'poor people' on a personal basis.

Lastly, had LD not shook his opponent's hand, I will say that LD is not a graceful winner. I dont do double standards. What about you? Do you support unsportmanship behaviour?? If you dont, how come I dont see you speaking up against KKK/TBH's unsporting gestures???

yea i think all of us are fed up with KKK/TBH
the ones the call the "golden pair" or beregu emas in Malay..
the've failed to deliver anything this year
and i also agree that they shud be paired with other ppl
but how many times do we have to do this before we get it right?!?!
KKK/CCM did well earlier on n then they underperformed.
    same thing happened to TBH/HTH
which lead to the KKK/TBH pairing.superb for the 1st year n then pftt.....
they lost, n then they lost again...n then they umm..lost again..
so now we're talking bout splitting them up
which i also think is the best idea yet
but i think our players should stop caring bout who their partners are n improve themselves 1st n foremost!
have the right attitude n mentality for crying out loud!!
then only will they be a true "golden pair"!

sorry for the slightly off-topic, but i thought this is kinda interesting.

in a Chinese interview of Yu Yang, the newly crowned WD Gold Medalist. she says:

"before the final today, i was afraid i would be too excited, so i slept the whole time. that was useful, i was very rested, once i stepped into court my excitement came back. this gold medal was due to my sleeping."

Sleeping can be a good thing for your body to recover ....like in body building, you need plenty of sleep to get those muscles. It will also relax the person. However, during big competition, normally people tend to wake up early get ready with light jogging, maybe latter take a short nap if tired, but not to the extend of over sleeping. That is bad.

But you know whats the sad part?? Many Malaysians are still living in denial. They refused to see the light that others are moving forward while we are stagnating. They prefer the Malaysia Boleh hype.

KKK need to know that glory is attained through hard work and determination, not having it tattooed on your arm. All these years under Rexy, KKK/TBH learned nothing. And they are poor losers too for not shaking their opponents' hands.

Tomorrow, should LCW win that first Olympic gold, I hope the lad can keep his feet firmly grounded because other than that RM1 million reward, politicians will be coming out of the woodwork in droves. I hope winning our first Olympic gold will not set our badminton back a few years just like in 91 when we won the TC.

For once, I agree with Pemuda.

Having glory tattooed to his arm made me raise my eyebrows... This guy has to have a major mindset change to become the world's top. Doubles is not a one man show.

If Lee wins gold tomorrow, I pray, I sincerely hope that that wouldn't be the end of him. He should take a leaf out of Zhang Ning's book. That women is magnificent. Oh... and you'll be bald. :D:D:D

although he is LD supporter, in his heart, he still love Malaysia.
getting his head bald is just like offering his love to Malaysia and appreciate Malaysian fighting spirit to achieve. am i correct here....

Boleh fans must know that by supporting LD doesnt mean I dont love Malaysia. To me, my support for LD is like Malaysians supporting Man Utd, Chelsea, Brazil, US basketball team, etc etc. Now, do we consider these Malaysians as unpatriotic or dont love Malaysia simply because they dont support Perlis, Selangor etc?

The only Malaysian fighting spirit I like is WMC's.
