Impressive performance from the English as you say. At the moment they would be 3rd in world, the wc at birmingham seems to have just come to soon for Robertson/Emms who would have at least got a medal! Robertson also playing great md with Clark, when did the English last have a md pair capable of beating top chinese and Malaysians in the far east!
Great performance by Nathan and Gail. I hope they win a major title soon. Incidentally, their last major title was the Malaysian Open 2002 MX title. Looks like they do well there. Gail is also very cute by the way.
Amazing performance for the British pair and hopefully this will shut some of the critics of Gail Emms. Not that they reached the finals but rather that they managed to beat some of the world's top mixed doubles. Hopefully, this will shine some spotlight on the sport in the UK.
It's a good result for the british but I still think Emms' style looks awkward - that is not meant as a personal insult but as a subjective opinion on the badminton style itself.
