    I'm just...

..staring at this match and wonder...will:
LYD be licking his chops for getting another quick chance to redeem his SSMF's loss to KKK & TBH...
    or
narnia be licking his chops looking to make another "LYD & JJS have conquered KKK & TBH's style" postings...
    or
Pemuda will be licking his chops for another round of "Are you serious??" postings in the "KKK & TBH-On the comeback trail?" thread...
    ;)

Should be a very good one!

Could Hsieh vs Kuncoro be an upset?

Although I'm a Sony fan, his morale is always a bit..., well, as wobbly as a newborn giraffe on rollerskates.
I was very impressed with what I saw of YHH in the Olympics.

..i think the condition of Sony's body, whether his physique is in prima shape or not, will (in most cases) dictate quite a bit on his morale...and performance:cool:
..Pemuda on the other hand is always riding in an M1 Abrams tank....;)

    Men's Singles
    Lee Chong Wei
[1] vs Simon Santoso [8] -- Simon has finally recovered after a long layoff and 2 QF appearances in the opening SS will boost his confidence. Unfortunately, he has to face Lee Chong Wei and possibly Sony Dwi Kuncoro next week, so, QF is the farthest he can go.

Hsieh Yu-Hsin vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro [2] -- Sony has a chance to go further as he entertains the tricky Taiwanese player. He should face Park Sung Hwan tomorrow. Sorry X Ball, but Lee Chong Wei will probably meet Peter Gade in the SF tomorrow, not the Final.

    Men's Doubles
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
[1] vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Candra Wijaya -- I will not be surprised if Kido/Hendra lost this one...given their off-form, but, they do still have a slight edge. It will be interesting to see how Luluk/Candra go from here. Will they still be competing in the All-England?

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra vs Cho Gun Woo/Yoo Yeon Seong -- this is the interesting one...can the newly formed pair upset KOR's no 2 pair? They have a chance, but, I will go for the Korean pair first. If the INA pair can win this one, INA is guaranteed a spot in the Final on Sunday.

    Women's Doubles
    Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir [3] vs Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati [8] -- another all-INA match....and I have a hunch Mel/Shendy can just upset their seniors.

    Mixed Doubles
    Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir
[1] vs Chen Hung-Ling/Chou Chia-Chi -- a tricky but manageable match for the World Champions. They have a chance for a title if they can overcome the Olympics Champions, probably in the Final.

    Ooooooooooooops !:eek::eek:

Anyway, PG was superb in demolishing WCH in the Danish tournament. So, was PG not well when he lost to LCW in their last match (in other words, is he is now back in form after his win over WCH) ? Or will LCW take apart PG again ?

My thoughts are LCW is now unbeatable in this MO.

Looks like all three qualifiers journey will be stopped tonight by their heavyweight opponents. Match-of-the day should be Jae Sung/Young Dae vs home fave KKK/TBH.
